Vasile Palade is Professor of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science in the Centre for Computational Science and Mathematical Modelling at Coventry University, UK. He joined Coventry University as a Reader in Pervasive Computing in 2013, after several previous academic and research positions at the University of Oxford, UK, University of Hull, UK, and the University of Galati, Romania. He is the Theme Lead for the "Machine Learning for Computer Vision" theme in the Centre for Computational Science and Mathematical Modelling. His research interests are in the area of machine learning/computational intelligence, with a focus on neural networks and deep learning, neuro-fuzzy systems, various nature inspired algorithms, such as swarm optimization algorithms. Application areas include computer vision, autonomous driving, social network data analysis and web mining, smart cities, natural language processing, fault diagnosis, Bioinformatics and health related problems, among others. Vasile Palade is author and co-author of more than 250 papers in journals and conference proceedings as well as books on machine learning and applications. He has also co-edited several books including conference proceedings. He is currently an Associate Editor for several journals, such as IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems, Neural Networks, Knowledge and Information Systems, International Journal on Artificial Intelligence Tools, International Journal of Hybrid Intelligent Systems. Vasile Palade is an IEEE Senior Member and a member of the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society.

Smaranda Belciug is an Associate Professor in Computer Science at the University of Craiova, Romania, Data Scientist at the Molecular Tumor Board – Multidisciplinary Commission for Personalized Therapeutic Indication based on a Comprehensive Molecular (Genetic) Assessment, an expert for the European Commission Horizon Europe, a Senior Editor for the BMC Medical Informatics and Decision, editor for the Journal of Biomedical Informatics, and Associate member of the Royal Society of Medicine. She has obtained her PhD in Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare from the University of Pitesti, Romania in 2010. Her research interests include Artificial Intelligence in the Healthcare system and Statistics. She is the author of three monographs: Intelligent Decision Support Systems – a journey to Smarter Healthcare, Springer-Nature, 2020, Artificial Intelligence in Cancer: diagnostic to tailored treatment, Elsevier Academic Press, 2020, and Pregnancy with Artificial Intelligence, a 9.5 months journey from Preconception to Birth, Springer-Nature, 2023. The first 2 monographs have received the Romanian Academy Award in 2022, the highest award given in Romania. She is an enthusiastic partisan of the multidisciplinary approach in scientific studies, and all her research is driven by this reason. This has been recognized at multiple levels, from the wide variety of nature of the journals she has published into to the variety of journals and conferences that for which she reviews articles.

He has comprehensive experience from industry (Honeywell Information Systems), Research institute and academia, from overseas and Australia. Dr Simic is currently the General Editor for Knowledge Engineering Systems (KES) International Journal, Program Manager for Master of Engineering (Management), Associate Director of Australia-India Research Centre for Automation Software Engineering, Associate Editor for Intelligent Decision Technologies (IDT) International Journal, and few more. Dr Simic is conducting research and teaching in Mechatronics that is a comprehensive engineering discipline, which includes the following scientific areas in his work -physical systems modelling, autonomous systems, biomedical engineering, robotics, intelligent transportation systems, green energy, information theory, wireless transfer of energy, engineering management, and education. In addition to international publishing leadership role, research, program and course management, Dr Simic is conducting multidisciplinary teaching, currently lecturing mechatronics, electronics and management subjects in the School of Engineering. He has received teaching awards for academic performances at the University and award for the provision of educational services to the Australian community. He has also received number of industry transition grants, research grants and research awards. He has more than 115 research publications including 5 books. His publications cover international journals, books, book chapters and conference proceedings from the areas of Autonomous Systems, Biomedical Engineering, Intelligent Transportation Systems, Digital Communications, Electronics, Green Energy Production, Mechatronics Engineering, Management, and Engineering Education.Dr Simic is a programs committee member for a large number of conferences, organised by KES International, and by other scientific organisations. Dr. Margarita N. Favorskaya is a Professor and Head of Department of Informatics and Computer Techniques at Reshetnev Siberian State University of Science and Technology., Russian Federation. Professor Favorskaya is a member of KES organization since 2010, the IPC member and the Chair of invitedsessions of over 30 international conferences. Prof. Srikanta Patnaik is Director of I.I.M.T., Bhubaneswar, India. He has received his Ph. D. (Engineering) on Computational Intelligence from Jadavpur University, India in 1999. He has supervised more than 30 Ph. D. Theses and 100 Master theses in the area of Computational Intelligence, Machine Learning, Soft Computing Applications and Re-Engineering. Dr. Patnaik has published around 100 research papers in international journals and conference proceedings. He is author of 2 text books and 55 edited volumes and few invited book chapters, published by leading international publisher like IEEE, Elsevier, Springer-Verlag, Kluwer Academic, etc..
