Professor Janusz Kacprzyk is a distinguished Polish engineer and mathematician, renowned for his contributions to computational and artificial intelligence, particularly in fuzzy logic, decision making under uncertainty, and data analysis. He serves as a professor at the Systems Research Institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw. Throughout his career, Professor Kacprzyk has authored over 680 publications, including approximately 150 papers in journals with impact factors, and has edited or co-edited around 175 volumes. His work has garnered significant recognition, with over 36,000 citations and an h-index of 81 on Google Scholar. He is a fellow of several professional societies, including IEEE, IET, IFSA, EurAI, IFIP, AAIA, and SMIA, and has received numerous awards, such as the IEEE Pioneer Award in Fuzzy Systems and the IFSA Award. Prof. Anil Kumar is a Professor of Operations, Supply Chain, and Business Analytics at the Guildhall School of Business, London Metropolitan University (LMU), UK. With over fifteen years of experience in teaching and research, he brings a wealth of expertise to his role. Prior to joining LMU, Prof. Kumar served as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in Decision Sciences at the Centre for Supply Chain Improvement, University of Derby, UK. He holds a Ph.D. in Management Science from the ABV-Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management, Gwalior, India, as well as Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Mathematics from Kurukshetra University, India. Additionally, he completed an MBA and qualified for the National Eligibility Test (NET) in June 2011. Prof. Kumar's outstanding contributions to research have earned him international recognition, including being ranked in the Top 1% of researchers worldwide by Web of Science in 2024, and in the Top 2% by Stanford University-Elsevier in 2024, 2023, and 2022. He also serves as a Section Editor for Heliyon-Information Science (Elsevier), a journal indexed in SCIE/SSCI and Scopus.

Rutuparna Panda (Member IEEE) was born in 1963. He received B.Sc Engg. (Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering) and M. Sc. Engg. (Communication Systems Engineering) Degrees from UCE Burla in 1985 and 1988, respectively. He obtained Ph.D. (Engg) degree from IIT, KGP in 1998. He is a former Professor in the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, VSS University of Technology, Burla. He was the former HOD ECE Dept., HOD CSE Dept., DEAN, Academic Affairs, DEAN, SRIC, and DEAN Continuing Education Programme. He has guided 38 M.Tech. Theses and 10 Ph.D. Theses. He has over 200 papers in International/National Journals and conferences. Dr. Panda has more than 4000 academic citations with h-index of 35 and i10-index of 70 as per google scholar. He is the co-author of two books titled “AI Techniques for Biomedical Engineering Applications” and “Region based Approaches for Image Fusion”. He is the co-author of 8 Book Chapters. Currently, Dr. Panda is serving as an associate editor of Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence (EAAI). He is a member of IEEE and a Fellow of IETE(India). He is the reviewer of many reputed international Journals like IEEE Transactions and Elsevier Journals. He received ‘Highly Cited Research Award’ in Dec. 2016 from Swarm and Evolutionary Computation Journal, Elsevier. He received ‘Certificate of Appreciation Award’ for quality research Journal Publications for the year 2020 from VSS University of Technology, Burla. His one article is found in top ten popular articles of IEEE Reviews in Biomedical Engineering. His area of research interests includes – Digital signal/image processing, Bioinformatics, Biomedical Engineering, VLSI Signal Processing, Soft Computing, Machine intelligence and AI.

Dr Ip was awarded in 2015 “Gold Medal with the Congratulations of Jury” and “Thailand Award for Best International Invention” in the 43rd International Exhibition of Geneva, and he was awarded the “Natural Science Award ” in 2013 Ministry of Education Higher Education Outstanding Scientific Research Output Awards by the Ministry of Education of Mainland China. Dr. Ip is distinguished and visiting professor of various China mainland universities, and Honorary Industrial Fellow of the University of Warwick, Warwick Manufacturing Group. He is Professor Emeritus and adjunct professor of Mechanical Engineering, University of Saskatchewan and senior research fellow of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He received his MCA degree from NIT, Rourkela in 1989. He is having 30 years of rich experience as Head of IT in various reputed MNCs both in India & abroad. Professor Sarangi was Head of IT of Hindalco Industries, Aditya Birla Group company located at Hirakud, Odisha for both its Smelter & Power plant and then relocated to Malaysia as Head of IT for its Palm Oil Edible Oil and Oleo Chemical division. Subsequently professor Sarangi moved to Singapore as Head of Business Information System of Palm Oil Business of RGE Pte Ltd Singapore. Professor Sarangi has vast experience mainly focused on IT Strategy, IT Project Management, IT Planning & Governance, IT Infrastructure Management, Business Transformation, Change Management, People Management, IT Policy & Security, Vendor Management, ERP implementation etc..
