Professor, Systems Research Institute, Polish Academy of Sciences (SRI PAS), Warsaw, Poland.

Short Bio-data:
Professor Janusz Kacprzyk is a distinguished Polish engineer and mathematician, renowned for his contributions to computational and artificial intelligence, particularly in fuzzy logic, decision making under uncertainty, and data analysis. He serves as a professor at the Systems Research Institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw. Throughout his career, Professor Kacprzyk has authored over 680 publications, including approximately 150 papers in journals with impact factors, and has edited or co-edited around 175 volumes. His work has garnered significant recognition, with over 36,000 citations and an h-index of 81 on Google Scholar. He is a fellow of several professional societies, including IEEE, IET, IFSA, EurAI, IFIP, AAIA, and SMIA, and has received numerous awards, such as the IEEE Pioneer Award in Fuzzy Systems and the IFSA Award. Professor Kacprzyk's extensive contributions have significantly advanced the fields of computational intelligence and fuzzy systems.

Short Bio-data:
Dr. Akshya K. Swain graduated from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology, Burla, India with a Gold Medal and received Masters of Electronic Systems and Communication from National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, India. He was a Commonwealth Scholar in the United Kingdom from 1994 to 1996 and received Ph.D degree from the Department of Automatic Control and Systems Engineering, University of Sheffield, Sheffield, U.K. Since 2002, he is with the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department of The University of Auckland, New Zealand. His research interests include Nonlinear System Identification and Control, Fault Tolerant Control, Big Data, Machine Intelligence, Biomedical Signal Processing, and Control Applications to Power System and Wireless Power Transfer Systems. He has authored/co-authored over 170 papers in different international journals and conferences. Dr. Swain is an Associate Editor of IEEE Sensors Journal and Member of the Editorial Board of International Journal of Automation and Control and International Journal of Sensors, Wireless Communications and Control. His teaching interests at graduate and undergraduate level include courses related to Control Systems, Power Systems, and Computer Networks.

Prof. (Dr.) Sidhartha Panda

Professor, Electrical Engineering, VSSUT, Burla

Short Bio-data:
Dr. Sidhartha Panda obtained his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee in 2008. He completed his Master of Engineering (M.E.) in Power System Engineering from the University College of Engineering (UCE), Burla in 2001, and earned his Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electrical Engineering from Berhampur University in 1991. He received two prestigious scholarships during his academic journey: one from NCERT during school education and another from the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) during his Ph.D. program. He has a total of about 32 years of professional experience. He has successfully guided 13 Ph.D. scholars and is currently supervising 5 more. Additionally, he has mentored 28 M.Tech. students in their research work. He has published approximately 300 research papers, including 222 papers in international journals and 76 in conferences. He has also authored 2 books, Scopus: 256 documents, 10,589 citations, h-index: 52, Google Scholar: 303 documents, 15,152 citations, h-index: 62, i10-index: 199. Listed among the world's top 2% of scientists by Stanford University for five consecutive years (2020–2024). Recipient of the 2022 Research.com Electronics and Electrical Engineering in India Leader Award. Served as Head of Department for Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, and Electrical & Electronics Engineering. He held the position of Dean, Post Graduate Studies & Research (PGSR) at VSSUT, Burla. He also served as the Coordinator for TEQIP-II and TEQIP-III, World Bank-funded projects. Additionally, he was the Chairman of the Estate Committee at VSSUT, Burla. He is a member of the Board of Management at VSSUT, Government College of Engineering Kalahandi (GCEK), and Government Engineering College (GEC). He also serves as a member of the Board of Studies for VSSUT, Sambalpur University (SU), and NIST. Furthermore, he is a member of the Academic Council. His research interests include MATLAB/SIMULINK applications, Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS), controller design, power system stability, automatic voltage regulation (AVR), automatic generation control (AGC), improved and hybrid optimization techniques, multi-objective optimization, economic operation of power systems, fuzzy logic, adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference systems (ANFIS), distributed generation, wind energy integration, and model order reduction.

Short Bio-data:
Dr. Sanjeeb Kumar Kar received his M. Tech in Control Systems Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur in 2004 and Ph. D from the same institute in 2011. Currently, he is working as a professor in the department of Electrical Engineering, ITER, SOA Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar, India. He has more than 25 years of teaching and research experience. He authored/co-authored more than 150 papers in international referred journals and international conferences. Also, he authored books in CRC Press, Taylor & Francis Group Boca Raton London New York in Dec. 2012, and Lambert Academic Publication in June 2018. Already 11 Ph. D scholars have been awarded under his supervision and 7 are in pipeline. His research interest includes application of Control in different types of systems, Optimal Control, Orthogonal functions, Renewable energy, Power system, Smart grid, Drives etc. He is a reviewer of many international journals and conferences. Member of IEEE, LIFE member of SSI (System society of India) and ISSE (Indian society of systems for science and engineering).

Prof. Jayadev Kar holds a B.Sc. Engg. (Hons.) in Electronics & Telecommunication from UCE Burla (now VSSUT) and an M. Tech in Computer Science (Image Processing) along with a Ph.D. from Utkal University. With over 37 years of experience in academics, administration, and curriculum development, he has served as Professor, Dean, and Technical Head at leading institutions, including Pathani Samanta Planetarium. He has guided many Ph.D. scholars and co-authored nine books in vocational education. Prof. Kar is passionate about student-centred1 curriculum design and currently serves as Director of Interscience Institute of Management & Technology.

Dr. Smrutiranjan Nayak is an accomplished academician with over 15 years of experience in teaching, research, and administration in Electrical Engineering. He holds a Ph.D. in Power System Engineering from SOA (Deemed to be University), Odisha, India. His research interests include power system stability, renewable energy integration, and intelligent control systems. He has authored multiple research papers in reputed international journals indexed in Scopus and SCI. Dr. Nayak has also contributed to various book chapters and conferences, showcasing his expertise in power electronics and smart grid technologies. He is an active member of professional societies like ISTE, IE, and the Solar Energy Society of India. Additionally, he serves as a reviewer for leading journals and conferences.
