Professor Lakhmi C. Jain, PhD, Dr H.C., ME, BE(Hons), Fellow (Engineers Australia), is with the Liverpool Hope University and the University of Arad. He was formerly with the University of Technology Sydney, the University of Canberra and Bournemouth University.
Professor Jain founded the KES International for providing a professional community the opportunities for publications, knowledge exchange, cooperation and teaming. Involving around 5,000 researchers drawn from universities and companies world-wide, KES facilitates international cooperation and generates synergy in teaching and research. KES regularly provides networking opportunities for the professional community through one of the largest conferences of its kind in the area of KES.

Professor George A. Tsihrintzis

Prof. George A. Tsihrintzis received the Diploma of Electrical Engineer from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece (with honors) and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University, Boston, Massachusetts, USA. He is currently a Professor in The University of Piraeus, Greece and Head of its Department of Informatics. From 2008 to 2016, he also served as the Director of the Graduate Program of Study in “Advanced Computing and Informatics Systems” of the Department. His current research interests include Knowledge- based/Intelligent Software Engineering, Software Personalization, Information Retrieval from Databases, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Pattern Recognition, Decision Theory, and Statistical Signal Processing and their applications in Multimedia Interactive Services, User Modeling, Knowledge-based Software Systems, Human-Computer Interaction and Information Retrieval. He has authored or co-authored over 300 research publications in these areas, which have appeared in international journals, book chapters, and conference proceedings, and has served as the principal investigator or co-investigator in several R&D projects. He has supervised 10 doctoral students who have received their doctoral degrees and is currently supervising an additional 5 students.

Prof. (Dr.) Srikanta Patnaik

Prof. Srikanta Patnaik is Chairman of I.I.M.T., Bhubaneswar, India. He has received his Ph. D. (Engineering) on Computational Intelligence from Jadavpur University, India in 1999. He has supervised more than 30 Ph. D. Theses and 100 Master theses in the area of Computational Intelligence, Machine Learning, Soft Computing Applications and Re-Engineering. Dr. Patnaik has published around 100 research papers in international journals and conference proceedings. He is author of 2 text books and 55 edited volumes and few invited book chapters, published by leading international publisher like IEEE, Elsevier, Springer-Verlag, Kluwer Academic, etc. Dr. Srikanta Patnaik is the Editors-in-Chief of International Journal of Information and Communication Technology and International Journal of Computational Vision and Robotics published from Inderscience Publishing House, England and, Editor of Journal of Information and Communication Convergence Engineering and Associate Editor of Journal of Intelligent and Fuzzy Systems (JIFS), which are all Scopus Index journals. He is also Editors-in-Chief of Book Series on “Modeling and Optimization in Science and Technology” published from Springer, Germany and Advances in Computer and Electrical Engineering (ACEE) and Advances in Medical Technologies and Clinical Practice (AMTCP), published by IGI Global, USA. He is a member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (IEEE) and Association for Computing Machinery (ACM). He is also Fellow of IETE, Life Member of ISTE, and CSI. Dr. Patnaik has visited more than 20 countries across the globe and visiting professors to some of the universities.

Professor Dr. Maria Virvou

Professor Dr. Maria Virvou is the Dean of the School of Informatics and Communication Technologies at the University of Piraeus, Greece. She is the Director and Founding Member of the Postgraduate Program in “Informatics” and serves as the Director of the Software Technology Research Laboratory. In addition, she is the Co-Founder and Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Springer book series Learning and Analytics in Intelligent Systems and Artificial Intelligence-Enhanced Software and Systems Engineering. She is also the Co-Founder and Co-Chair of the IEEE Intelligent Information Systems and Applications (IISA) International Conference series, which is held annually. She previously served as Editor-in-Chief of the open-access journal SpringerPlus and currently serves as an Associate Editor of Knowledge-Based Systems (Elsevier). In 2024, she was the General Co-Chair of the 14th IEEE IISA Conference and the 14th AI-Enhanced Software Engineering Conference. Professor Virvou received her Ph.D. from the University of Sussex, U.K., funded by a prestigious scholarship in Artificial Intelligence from the Greek State Scholarships Foundation following competitive national examinations. She also holds an M.Sc. in Computer Science from University College London (UCL), University of London, and a Degree in Mathematics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Her scholarly output comprises over 400 publications, including 44 editorials and 7 monographs, all indexed in Scopus. She has successfully supervised 15 Ph.D. candidates and 10 post-doctoral researchers. She has delivered numerous keynote speeches at prestigious international conferences, including the IEEE Int. Conf. on Tools with AI (ICTAI 2024) in Washington D.C., USA, and the IEEE Int. Conf. on Software Engineering Education and Training (CSEE&T 2023) in Tokyo, Japan. Professor Virvou has received numerous honours, including an award from UNESCO for her outstanding contributions to computer science. In recognition of her impact, Springer published the edited volume Advances in Intelligent Healthcare Delivery and Management: Research Papers in Honour of Professor Maria Virvou for Invaluable Contributions (Springer, Germany). She holds top positions in international research rankings. According to Scopus and Microsoft Academic Search, she ranks 1st in User Modelling (among 150,900 publications), and 1st in both Intelligent Software (out of 60,779 publications) and Educational Software (out of 40,585 publications) on Scopus. She is also ranked among the top 0.02% of AI researchers worldwide, based on analysis of over 670,000 scholarly documents by Scopus. She is also recognized among the leading researchers in User Interface, Multimedia, and Human-Computer Interaction, according to Microsoft Academic Search (2022). Furthermore, she is consistently ranked among the top 2% of researchers worldwide with the highest scientific impact, according to the global academic ranking by Stanford University, particularly in the field of Artificial Intelligence.

Prof. Jair Minoro Abe

Prof. Jair Minoro Abe received B.A. and MSc in Pure Mathematics - University of Sao Paulo, Brazil. Also received the Doctor degree and Livre-Docente title from the same University. He is currently coordinator of Logic Area of Institute of Advanced Studies - University of Sao Paulo Brazil and Full Professor at Paulista University - Brazil. His research interest topics include Paraconsistent Annotated Logics and AI, ANN in Biomedicine and Automation, among others. He is Senior Member of IEEE. Professor Abe is a studious of a family of Paraconsistent Annotated Logic which is used to solve many complex problems in engineering. He has authored/edited books on Paraconsistent and related logic published by Springer Germany and other reputed publishers. He is the recipient of many awards including medals for his academic performance and also received many best articles awards. Professor Abe was the Editor-in-Chief of Publicações da Sociedade Paranaense de Matemática de 1990 - 1994. Presently, Professor Abe serves as Associate Editor and member of the Editorial Board of some journals related to the intelligent systems and applications. Professor Abe has supervised a number of PhD candidates successfully and presented a number of keynote addresses. He has authored/co-authored around 300+ publications including books, research articles, research reports, etc. Professor Abe’s research interests include System design using conventional and Artificial Intelligence techniques, Paraconsistent Annotated Logic, Human factors in Aviation, Intelligent Decision Making, Teaching & Learning practices, and Cognitive Studies.

Dr. Rahul Kumar Jain

Dr. Rahul Kumar Jain received his PhD degree from Ritsumeikan University, Shiga, Japan, in 2022. He has been an intern trainee at Tiwaki Co., Ltd., Japan since 2019. He is now working as senior researcher at the College of Information Science and Engineering, Ritsumeikan University, Japan. His research interests include computer vision, deep learning, and image processing as well as the applications of Artificial Intelligence in areas including engineering, science, computer science, healthcare and so on.

Dr. Jayadev Kar is a distinguished academician and administrator with a robust background in human resource development, management, and multidisciplinary education. With an MBA in Personnel and Marketing from Utkal University and a Ph.D. in Human Resource Development with specialization in MIS & HR, Dr. Kar has over three decades of influential experience in academia, leadership, and institutional development. His extensive contributions span across student-centric curriculum design, research, and administrative innovation. Formerly a Professor and Dean at the Regional College of Management, Bhubaneswar, and Technical Head at Pathani Samanta Planetarium, he has guided numerous Ph.D. theses and authored multiple books in vocational education. Currently serving as Director at Interscience Institute of Management & Technology, Bhubaneswar, Dr. Kar continues to drive academic excellence and institutional progress through outreach, scholarship, and strategic academic leadership.
