Dr. Jahangir Hossain received B.Sc. and M.Sc. Eng. degrees from Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET), Bangladesh, in 2001 and 2005, respectively, and a Ph.D. degree from the University of New South Wales, Australia, all in electrical and electronic engineering.
He is currently working as a Professor at the School of Electrical and Data Engineering, University of Technology Sydney. Before joining there, he served as an associate professor at Macquarie University for 3.5 years, as senior lecturer and a lecturer at the Griffith School of Engineering, Griffith University for five years and as a research fellow in the School of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering, University of Queensland, Australia. Previously, he worked as a lecturer and assistant professor at Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology, Bangladesh, for six years. He has published more than 300 articles in international refereed journals and conferences, which attracted more than 8600 citations (Google Scholar) with an H-index of 50. He is a senior member of IEEE, editor of IEEE Trans. on Sustainable Energy, IEEE Trans. on Industry Applications, and IET GTD journal, and he has secured more than a $5M research grant. His research interests include power systems, wind generator integration and stabilization, voltage stability, micro grids, robust control, electrical machines, FACTS devices, and energy storage systems.

Ilhami Colak was born in 1962 in Turkey. He received his diploma in electrical engineering from Gazi University, Turkey, in 1985. Then, he did his MSc degree in electrical engineering in the field of Speed Control of Wound Rotor Induction Machines Using Semiconductor Devices at Gazi University in 1991. He received his PhD degree from Aston University in England on Mixed Frequency Testing of Induction Machines Using Inverters in 1994. He became an Assistant Professor, an Associate Professor, and a full Professor in 1995, 1999 and 2005, respectively. He has published more than 440 papers on different subjects, including electrical machines, drive systems, machine learning, reactive power compensation, inverters, converters, artificial neural networks, distance learning, automation, renewable energy sources and smart grids in the SCOPUS with 36 h-index. More than 320 of his papers have been cited in the SCI database of Thomson Reuters with 28 h-index and received more than 3650 citations. He has organized more than 100 international conferences and workshops. In the last fifteen years, he has concentrated his studies on renewable energy and smart grids by publishing papers, journals (www.ijrer.org), and (www.ijSmartGrid.org) and organizing international IEEE sponsored conferences (www.icrera.org), and (www.icSmartGrid.org). He is also the editor-in-chief of Electric Power Components and Systems (https://www.tandfonline.com/toc/uemp20/current). He has 1 international and 3 national patents. He also spent around 3 years at the European Commission Research Centre (JRC) as an expert in the field of smart grids in the Netherlands. He used to be a dean of engineering faculty, vice rector and the rector of the Gelisim and Nisantasi universities. He is currently a full professor at Istinye University. Prof. Tapas Kumar Panigrahi is currently working as Professor in Electrical Engineering Department, Parala Maharaja Engineering College, Berhampur, Odisha. His research interests include power quality and protection and control in distributed generation, Micro-Grid, Energy Systems. He has nearly 28 years of teaching experience. He has guided 2 PhD students and more than 20 M.Tech Students. He has authored and presented several research articles in international journals, conferences and book chapters. Dr. Soumya Ranjan Das is currently with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Parala Maharaja Engineering College, Berhampur. He has authored several research articles in international journals and conferences, and one textbook with Katsons publication. His research interests include grid integration of renewable energy systems, distributed generation and custom power device-based power quality analysis and design of interfacing convertors for renewable energy resources. He is a lifetime member of Institute of Engineers India. Dr. Das also received the Biju Patnaik University of Technology, University Foundation Research Award in 2023. Prof. Srikanta Patnaik is the Founder, Director and Professor of Information Management at Interscience Institute of Management & Technology, Bhubaneswar. Dr. Dillip Kumar Mishra received his Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of Technology Sydney, Australia. Prior to that, he completed his M. Tech (Honours), Bachelor (Honours), and Diploma (Honours) in Electrical Engineering in India. Currently, Dr. Mishra holds a position as a postdoctoral fellow at Automotive Engineering and is the president of CUPDA Clemson University, USA. With over eight years of combined experience in both industry and academia, Dr. Mishra possesses a wealth of practical and theoretical understanding. His research focuses on various areas, including power system stability, frequency regulation, renewable energy systems, power system resiliency, microgrids, EVs, and energy storage. Dr. Mishra's academic contributions extend beyond his degrees. He has authored over fifty research papers published in renowned international journals and conferences and two books. His expertise and knowledge have led him to be considered a potential reviewer for esteemed international journals such as IEEE Transactions, Elsevier, Wiley, IET, and Springer. Dr. Prakash K. Ray is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Odisha University of Technology and Research (OUTR), Bhubaneswar, India (Formerly CET, Bhubaneswar). He completed his PhD degree from MNNIT, Allahabad, India and Post Doctoral Fellowship from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore.
He is a Senior Member of IEEE and Life Member of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE). His research area includes distributed generations, digital signal processing and soft computing applications in power system and power quality. Dr. ASIT MOHANTY (Senior Member, IEEE) was graduated from NIT Durgapur. He is presently on a temporary absence from his position as the Principal of MIET, Bhubaneswar. He has been affiliated with the National Energy University in Malaysia since July 2023. He possesses a substantial four-year research background from MNNIT Allahabad, along with almost two decades of expertise in the field of teaching and research. The areas of his study focus on the modeling and control of distributed energy sources, power system stability and control, power quality, and the application of soft computing in power systems. He has authored over 200 technical articles in international conferences and peer-reviewed journals. He holds the title of Fellow at the Institute of Engineers India and is a Life Member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (LMISTE).
