Prof. Andrew W. H. Ip received his PhD from Loughborough University (U.K.), MBA from Brunel University (U.K.), MSc in Industrial Engineering from Cranfield University (U.K.), and LLB (Hons) from the University of Wolverhampton (U.K.). Dr Ip was awarded in 2015 “Gold Medal with the Congratulations of Jury” and “Thailand Award for Best International Invention” in the 43rd International Exhibition of Geneva, and he was awarded the “Natural Science Award ” in 2013 Ministry of Education Higher Education Outstanding Scientific Research Output Awards by the Ministry of Education of Mainland China. Dr. Ip is visiting professor of Civil Aviation University of China, South China Normal University, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, and Honorary Fellow of the University Warwick, Warwick Manufacturing Group.

He is Professor Emeritus and adjunct professor of Mechanical Engineering, University of Saskatchewan and principal research fellow of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He is a chartered engineer, senior member of IEEE and member of Hong Kong Institution of Engineers, and members of various professional bodies in mechanical and electrical engineering. He is Editor in Chief of the journal of Enterprise Information System (SCI index), Taylor & Francis; Founder & Editor in Chief of International Journal of Engineering Business Management (ESCI & SCOPUS index), SAGE.

Dr. Leonilde Varela

Dr. Leonilde Varela is Assistant Professor at Department of Production and Systems, and an integrated member of the Algoritmi Research Centre, at University of Minho, Portugal, and she received her PhD in Industrial Engineering and Management from the same University and Department in 2007. She has been working in this department since 1994, through teaching and research and in which she has also been collaborating in management tasks, namely regarding the coordination of the industrial management and systems subgroup that she integrates since 1994, and coordinates since 2012, as well as her integration of the steering committee of the master's course in systems engineering, between 2016 and 2019.

Her main research interests are in Manufacturing Management, Collaborative Management, Production Planning and Control, Optimization, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Meta-heuristics, Scheduling, Web based Systems, Services and technologies, mainly for supporting Engineering and Production Management, Collaborative Networks, Decision Making Models, Methods and Systems, and Virtual, Distributed and Networked Enterprises. She has published more than 200 refereed scientific papers in international conferences and in international scientific books and journals, and conference proceeding books, indexed in the Web of Science and/or in the Scopus data bases. She coordinates research projects, which includes PhD and MSc projects in the area of Production and Systems Engineering, namely concerning the development of collaborative management models, methods and tools, along with traditional decision support models, methods and tools, and web-based platforms and systems further based on AI approaches.

She is a member of several international institutions and research groups, such as the Machine Intelligence Research Labs, Scientific Network for Innovation and Research Excellence (MirLabs), where she is a publication chair, and through which she has been integrating organizing and scientific committees in several associated international conferences, besides her association, as a member in the Euro Working Group of Decision Support Systems, in the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers; in the Industrial Engineering Network, and the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers.

Prof. Srikanta Patnaik is Director of I.I.M.T., Bhubaneswar, India. He has received his Ph. D. (Engineering) on Computational Intelligence from Jadavpur University, India in 1999. He has supervised more than 30 Ph. D. Theses and 100 Master theses in the area of Computational Intelligence, Machine Learning, Soft Computing Applications and Re-Engineering. Dr. Patnaik has published around 100 research papers in international journals and conference proceedings. He is author of 2 text books and 55 edited volumes and few invited book chapters, published by leading international publisher like IEEE, Elsevier, Springer-Verlag, Kluwer Academic, etc.. Dr. SrikantaPatnaik is the Editors-in-Chief of International Journal of Information and Communication Technology and International Journal of Computational Vision and Robotics published from Inderscience Publishing House, England and, Editor of Journal of Information and Communication Convegence Engineering and Associate Editor of Journal of Intelligent and Fuzzy Systems (JIFS), which are all Scopus Index journals.
He is also Editors-in-Chief of Book Series on “Modeling and Optimization in Science and Technology” published from Springer, Germany and Advances in Computer and Electrical Engineering (ACEE) and Advances in Medical Technologies and Clinical Practice (AMTCP), published by IGI Global, USA.
He is a member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (IEEE) and Association for Computing Machinery (ACM). He is also Fellow of IETE, Life Member of ISTE, and CSI. Dr. Patnaik has visited more than 20 countries across the globe and visiting professors to some of the universities.

Taosheng Wang is a doctor, professor of Applied Economics (International Trade Direction), specialist of General Office of the State Council, director of Chinese Society of World Economy, Vice Chairman of the Expert Committee of China Association of Trade in Service, master tutor. He is the dean of School of Business of Hunan International Economics University, chief expert of the provincial-level social science key research base.

He is also foregoer of provincial-level key construction course ‘International Trade’, provincial-level teaching team ‘International Trade’, provincial-level characteristic specialty ‘International Economics and Trade‘. His main research areas are international economic and trade theory and policy; institutional innovation and international trade; international competitive advantage and competitive strategy.

Dr. Pierangelo Rosati is Assistant Professor in Business Analytics at DCU Business School and a Co-Deputy Director of the Irish Institute of Digital Business (IIDB). He previously worked as Post-Doctoral Researcher of the Irish Centre for Cloud Computing and Commerce (IC4). Dr. Rosati holds a PhD in Accounting and Finance from the University of Chieti-Pescara (Italy) and an MSc in Management and Business Administration from the Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna (Italy). He was appointed Visiting Professor at Universidad de las Américas Puebla (Mexico), University of Edinburgh Business School (United Kingdom) and Católica Porto Business School (Portugal), and visiting Ph.D Student at the Capital Markets Cooperative Research Center (CMCRC) in Sydney (Australia).

Dr. Rosati has been working on a number of research projects on data analytics, business value of IT, FinTech, Blockchain, cloud computing, and cyber security, many of them in direct collaboration with industry. His research has been published in leading academic journals and international conferences including the European Account Review, The European Journal of Finance, Accounting Forum and New Technology Work & Employment. He is a Work Package leader on the Horizon 2020 RINNO project and a PI of the Erasmus+ MENA-Preneurs project. Dr Rosati is also a Senior Series Editor on the Palgrave Studies in Digital Business & Enabling Technologies and is a regular speaker at both academic and industry events.
